Hillary is being regarded (http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/story?id=3648738&page=1) as the most media controlling and obsessed candidate out there.
Clinton, D-N.Y., is running perhaps the most media-controlled -- and media-obsessed -- campaign in presidential history. Her aides carefully screen access to the candidate, generally avoid news conferences on the campaign trail and have been known to throw around the Clintons' considerable weight to block negative stories and influence coverage of the candidate they're protecting and promoting.
If her sizable lead over Obama is an indication, this controlling and obsession appears to be working. Of course, threatening access to her husband to get stories squashed or ran is a bit underhanded and tacky, but such is life in politics these days.
