Army soldiers are having a tough time in Seoul as well, apparently. I'd like to know if the assailant was arrested, since apparently the third altercation was videotaped.
SEOUL, South Korea (Army News Service, Dec. 20, 2002) -- Two U.S. Army soldiers were verbally and physically assaulted in three separate incidents at Seoul Station Dec. 19.
A staff sergeant and a specialist of Korean descent said they were conducting official business in uniform outside the station when approached. In the first incident, the soldiers were approached by a Korean man, who cursed at them without provocation.Read all about it at Koreans harass two 8th Army soldiers in Seoul (http://www.dtic.mil/armylink/news/Dec2002/a20021220koreanharass.html)
An interesting way to treat one's allies, especially in public.
