I'm sure this is just the kind of endorsement (http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20070828/pl_nm/cuba_castro_usa_dc) they want.

So, how long before we start hearing both Clinton and Obama bash Cuba? :)

It is a smart move by Castro. He, of course, wants a Republican or conservative in power and he knows that the American electorate would look down upon his endorsement as a negative toward whoever he endorses--so naturally he chose O&C!

It's a smart move by either Castro or if he is dead his handpicked successors and regime. :)

He's asking to get killed if a Republican does get into power and holds a grudge against him.
