To put off doing something, especially out of habitual carelessness or laziness.

And a great story to go along with it here (http://avanoo.wordpress.com/2007/08/26/she-said-thank-you/).

I'll read it when I have time, ok? ;)

And all this time I thought the definition read:

A skill that was mastered and maintained by tke711 over 20 years ago

This is no new word to me. The stories told, both of them were me. I'm very confused now. Thank you for helping me realize just how screwed up I really am! LOL

I tend to put things off because it always seems like there'll be time for them, but it's just not now, because there's so many other things I have to do, and they are very real. And those things that I do instead, have to be done, and done properly or I can't rest. There's always tomorrow, but tomorrow isn't guaranteed, and the stress seems to be always there, when you're totally aware of it. :yougottabekidding:

Me too, Vi. You aren't alone.

When I'm passionate about something.. I am like the guy in the story... most days I'm like the girl... at least until the last few years... now, especially as I make all these changes... I find I'm LIVING my passion and have realized what I want, and what needs to get done... and succumbing to my addictions and procrastinations, wont do it! ;)

In the words of Ray and Tom, I think they were both whacko!

I've meant to make it to the Procrastinator's Anonymous meetings for a long time, but I've always had to put it off at the last minute.

I actually got kicked out of the Procrastinators Association of America, when they found out that last year I mailed all my Christmas cards on time.
