Offending statement:

Engadget (http://www.engadget.com/2007/08/08/virgin-americas-inaugural-flight/) hyperventilates all the way across the country on Virgin America's inaugural flight. I can't wait to join them.

Now the problem here is you don't know whether Morgan Webb is excited about joining Engadget OR the Virgin America. What is this error called? Does it have a name?

That's an ambiguous reference. (or ambiguous pronoun reference, more specifically)

It has a name! Thank Oxford! I could use 10-12 words to describe it. Now I know what it's called. Yea!
