He referred to the political leader of Canada as the "President" (http://www.recorder.ca/cp/World/070808/w080871A.html) not the Prime Minister. Is he ready for the job? I think he should serve at least one more term in the Senate.

He is naive, ignorant, and very inexperienced. I think he would be a perfect candidate for the Governor of Minnesota. As President, he would probably be more dangerous than Johnson and/or Carter. I don't think he would be as ineffectual as Clinton, just more dangerous, because with the War on Terror, the future President(s) have real dangers to face. Plus, he's a bit of a fool, politically.

In recent times mere ignorance of world leaders' titles and names has not been an obstacle to the Presidency, though I certainly acknowledge that such an observation doesn't help Obama.

I disagree. I believe he should, and hope he does, serve many, many, many more terms in the senate.
