I guess this qualifies as a "flash flood." This is Kellick Creek in New South Wales.

This was worth showing on the news here when it happeed but I don't recall seeing it. And not a particularly safe vantage spot those two blokes chose either.

Shiny, all those stories you hear about the bronzed Aussies....don't believe it. Its worse than Scotland here. Never stops raining.:)
