She has opened a 21-point edge over Obama, leading him 43% to 22%. That is up from a 14-point lead in a June poll. Clinton would also spank Giuliani by six points, 47% to 41%; Hell, looks like even Obama would win over Rudy by five, 45% to 40%.

Meaningless. Remember when Dean was the darling of all the polls, then he screwed up? Too much can happen between now and the elections for these early polls to be very meaningful.

If we are really lucky... she will be caught screwing an illegal Mexican immigrant in a crappy hotel all high on meth.

Agreed....but this widening gap between Clinton and Obama is EXACTLY why he made the comments on Pakistan that we're discussing in that other thread. So I guess it's not completely meaningless to the candidates themselves. :)

While I agree, please keep in mind that Hillary has PLENTY of experience on screwing up being with Bill for 8 years during his Presidency. Dean had nothing of the same experience when he just showed up on the scene.

We can expect that from Bill, but this is just going too far. Now if this was a Mexican woman......did I just say that?
One of the very key things that drives poll numbers and catapults presidential candidates in popularity is the everyone want to be on winning team back a winner jump on the bandwagon they are a roll. Translation: Primaries.
If any candidate can win or do very well short of winning in a primary it can do wonders for them.
