I know, you are shocked. But wait, let's discuss this pathetic endorsement because it's what she is endorsing not who.
Here's her reason for Obama's endorsement. Ready? Here it goes:
"I know him personally, so I can trust him."
According to the NY Times article (http://www.nytimes.com/2007/05/07/business/media/07oprah.html?ex=1336190400&en=266533ea187ed5fa&ei=5088), whatever policy stands he's taken aren't as important as that personal connection! She knows him! "Ahp, good enough for me!"
You know what, you are a smart woman, why would you do this? If you're going to really endorse someone, shouldn't it be more because of their platform? She might as well have said, "I'm endorsing him because we're both from Chicago" or "because we're both black" or "because we both have unusual names that start with 'O'."
But you know what's REALLY sad? Millions of sheeple will be voting based SOLELY on her endorsement.
