Iluminating article in the Miami Herald (http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/news/16657841.htm) this week about what the average Venezuelan is experiencing living under Chavez.

I've been reading things lately about him threatening supermarkets (http://www.insidebayarea.com/business/ci_5232021) for holding out on supplies, but I didn't know exactly why it would be a big deal until now.

Seems things are rapidly spinning counter clockwise down the toilet for the wanna be dictator.

It's never about a better life for the masses, it's always about power and who has it.

His only platform was anti-US hate mongering. He had nothing else except some 100 year old economic system that never panned out to be anything but a power grab for the government.

Price controls and inflation. Like oil and water.

Today's WSJ had an article about how a lot of business people are leaving Venezuela for the US of all places. Gee, I wonder why? ;)
