Imagine a world without...

...disease
...malnutrition
...warfare
...violent crime
...ethnic/racial strife...

Imagine......

What would replace these mechanisms to keep the human population in check?

I'm betting a system of "life lotteries" would be created. You lose, you're gone.

I don't doubt that a bit...

Remember this (http://mbhs.bergtraum.k12.ny.us/cybereng/shorts/lotry.html) short story by Shirley Jackson?

As best I can tell, we will never be able to beat old age. We may be able to extend life but I doubt it will ever be infinite.

Next we have accidents. They happen and they will never disappear.

But most importantly, the birth rate will drop. Should we ever get to a point where everything you mentioned comes to fruition, I would argue, we will have learned how to control the birth rate voluntarily.

To my limited scope of vision, I can't see this happening in my lifetime. I would also hope we would learn many other things while we acquired the skills to achieve what you have lain out.

Let us all pray fervently.
