More trouble at Maroubra in Sydney's south and Manly , one of Sydney's northern beaches. North and south here refers to direction from Sydney Harbour and the bridge.

Two men and a woman were taken to hospital last night after a group of 20 males assaulted them, smashed their cars and attempted to rob them at a Sydney beach.

A 15-year-old has been charged after a running brawl between youths on school holiday erupted on Manly beach yesterday, with a photographer forced to flee to safety in a Manly pub after he was attacked.
Tempers flared on the sweltering 37-degree day when an argument broke out between two ethnic groups on the beach.

A lot of community effort from police, councils, reps from certain ethnic groups, has been going on since the Maroubra riots some months back. These latest brawls show there is a lot more work to be done to keep the lid on the trouble.

No, interesting that it wasn't reported that way in the paper but on the box it was. It was a group of Asians that were picked on by "locals" so said ABC news last night. I'll see if I can get some confirmation of that.

OK, according to The Australian (http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,20867,20581473-5006784,00.html), the fighting at Maroubra involved a group of Asians being picked on while the Manly incident was a fight with "no racial or gang related" issues.

Just what we've all been waiting for. A downloadable game called Cronulla 2030- Win Back Australia. It is based on the game of Monopoly and has photos of the Cronulla riots on the playing board. Wonderful. :crazy:

I doubt it will sell also. Nothing new in this type of exercise I know. It's silly stuff.
