LAT (http://www.latimes.com/news/printedition/front/la-na-wilma24oct24,1,85494,print.story?coll=la-headlines-frontpage) has news that Americans with a good credit (http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-subprime24oct24,0,1569431.story?coll=la-home-headlines) rating frequently get stuck with "sub-prime loans" instead of the traditional loans that are cheaper. According to Freddie Mac, more than 20 percent of people who received these expensive loans could have gotten a better deal, but they simply failed to ask the right questions or went to the wrong lender.
