The winner gets a free annual subscription to National Geographic.

Good job to all of the contestants and wish you all luck! :)

Sunday noon deadline!!!

I reread all three posts and even though I have a "opinionated bastard"
reputation to uphold, I cannot decide between the three.

It is a testament to the quality of this forum to be able to generate three
such wonderful pieces of writing in a week. In most forums, we would be
lucky to get this in a year, if ever.

Maybe, I can offer to contribute to giving all three authors a subscription.

I can see no other solution.

Does this place rock, or what!

Gosh, tough choice...

Yadziks insight,
Stevents use of humor
and sunriser's wonderful link

All three are winners in my book.
(hint hint)

Gotta go with Sunriser as her link gives me access to some great books.

All three should get something tho...

To kill confusion, yes, there ARE two polls at the same time in two different forums. I will add the votes from both polls and yes you can vote twice for your choice in each choice. If one is only voted once, at the end of the poll, I will tally in your choice twice.

Sound confusing? It should be! ;)

J/k Results will be tallyed accordingly, not to worry. :)

If you make it three polls, maybe we can have a tie!!!
I hate to leave any of them out!

Maybe we should have a poll to determine which poll to use?

I re-read them, and although it was a difficult choice, I finally reached a decision.

May the best post win.

"Maybe we should have a poll to determine which poll to use?"
Not unless we have a poll to see if it is necessary to have a poll as
to which thread we should use. Or, at least that's how I would vote.

All are great.
But, no matter who wins;
Thank you, Sunriser.
I picture Hemmingway, or Bogart!

There are some darn good ones. This will be hard. That is a good dilemma though. :)

Yazdic- Stringing words together and conveying his feelings so eloquently.

Sunriser - You have almost creted those smells of new and old pages for me.

Stevent - Witty but with a lot of truth to it. I can empathise with what you say.

It was a tough choice to pick one.

Well as of Saturday morning, it would appear that sarcasm has won out. ;)

Just kidding, stevent, they were all great posts.
