Enterprise IS getting canned....it is certain

UPN announced recently that Enterprise will be getting cancelled.
I am sad to see it end so soon though. Most all shows start out slow but I have been very impressed with the episodes the past couple seasons.

I was not a fan of the Original Series, but I watched the new ones religiously. Except for some stale episodes in DS9, I have enjoyed all the new series episodes. But as they indicated, this is a rest, not a retirement.

Bummer. I don't watch a whole lot of TV, but if the stars align and this show is on when I'm in front of a set, it's one that I'll watch and enjoy.

The whole Trek universe is ripe for development along the lines of Babylon5 or Farscape. Much of the latter episodes of TNG was getting there, then along came DS9. Enterprise, I thought, was a good start to getting back to developing the franchise.

My only hope: that this is the end of Rick Berman and Brannon Braga's careers. Enterprise improved only when Manny Coto got involved.

I'm sad, I actually liked the show. I watch it every week, it certainly beats whatever else is on TV.
