An insurance group has put out a list of the most vulnerable 'megacities' to live in. Quite interesting.
Tokyo has been voted the world's most vulnerable city by the world's largest reinsurer Munich Re. Seoul, together with Beijing, ranked 14 in the natural hazard index. San Francisco and Los Angeles in the U.S. were voted the second and third most dangerous cities, followed by another Japanese city, Osaka, and another U.S. city, Miami.

The Japanese capital scored 710 points on the risk index, a much higher figure than second-ranked San Francisco (167) or Los Angeles (100). Munich Re said Tokyo was particularly vulnerable to a range of natural disasters including volcano eruptions, earthquakes, tsunamis and floods, and in addition held over 40 percent of Japan's economic power.
