All in all, a good choice for SCOTUS. I don't think there was much ground that RIAA had going with Verizon but nice to see a positive here.

Agreed. The RIAA was abusing this way too much. The RIAA needs someone to tell them to fix their business model to work in the 21st century, not legislate the current advances in technology so that the RIAA can just live by pinning lawsuits on everyone that doesn't follow their rules...

Defeat on one side, but the Justice Department is going after changes in the law to criminalize "passive sharing" and that would allow lawsuits against companies that "induce copyright infringement".
