I believe I've mentioned VEDIT (http://www.vedit.com) here, before but it's time to bring them up again.

VEDIT is an extremely powerful file editor. I've been using it for years to manipulate large flat files. I could go on about it, but they've got plenty of details on their web site.

I only bring them up again because a) it's a great product; b) they've come out with a new 64-bit version; and c) they were very pleasant and helpful today when I contacted them because I needed to reinstall after my laptop crashed.

Oh,yeah? Well, my buffers are bigger than your buffers! :)

Ultraedit does look better, looks like it'd be nice for remote access.
