Ever since I installed XP SP2 I have found that right clicking a folder, especially a drive in "My Computer", causes Windows Explorer to crash.

After about six weeks I stumbled upon a web forum that suggests the problem is actually caused by Webroot Spy Sweeper... not SP2. Anyway per the forum suggestion, I started Spysweeper and unchecked the "Add Sweep for Spyware to Windows Context Menu" box in Options. That fixed the problem.

Your first and most glaring problem is that you use Windows Explorer. :P

Windows Explorer (explorer.exe) is the application that controls your Windows desktop. It is not the same thing as Internet Explorer (iexplore.exe).

I meant in the folder function, not the entire desktop. I use Opus Directory, for example.
