Well, they did it again. Sent out envelopes of 'white powder' to Broward city offices on the day of the first debates. I hope they get the little minded 'pranksters' and throw the book at them.
I still don't think they have solved the case of the exploding match envelopes yet either. Let's see...that's two in a month...getting active out there.

The first two envelopes were reported around 3 p.m. in Tamarac and Sea Ranch Lakes, Broward Sheriff Ken Jenne said. The Sheriff's Office quickly warned all Broward cities to be on the lookout for similar mailings.

Over the next several hours, powder-laced envelopes were discovered in Davie, Oakland Park, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Sunrise, Lauderdale Lakes, Wilton Manors, Fort Lauderdale and Weston. Jenne said all but one municipality received the envelopes. Weston found its letter at a local country club.

All of the envelopes had Memphis, Tenn., postmarks and no return address. Most were addressed to each city's mayor.

Oh, geesh. Thank god they were alerted to the whole thing by the cellmate. Can you imagine if got out and managed to actually pull it off?

Well, they got him. Seems the little bugger was busier than I thought...

Federal authorities arrested a Tennessee man Friday, saying he mailed 25 powder-laced envelopes to city administrators around Broward County and threatened to bomb several schools.

FBI agents took former Fort Lauderdale resident Dane Ray Swindell, 46, into custody at his Memphis, Tenn., home, Broward Sheriff Ken Jenne said at a news conference Friday. Although authorities said Swindell admitted sending the envelopes, he has only been charged with threatening to bomb eight Broward elementary schools in late August and early September.

The powder turned out to be white flour, but officials said Swindell could still be charged with attempting to use a hoax weapon of mass destruction, a felony.

Just goes to show you -- once again -- that the Muslims do not have the monopoly on terrorizing.

Nope... just 99% of it... ;)

I like the way the article states "he was ONLY charged with threatening to bomb 8 broward elementary schools"

ONLY!?

What a freaking nutcase!

lol, well, they are pointing out that no charges have been filed yet on the mailing of white powder to the city officials, only charges regarding the bomb threats.

But they provide a lot of inspiration.
