There's a photoshope challenge on what some cities/structures may look like in 2000 years or after Nuclear War/Winter.

I've attached a few of my favorites.

My favorite in this genre is Alexis Rockman's wonderful "Manifest Destiny" (http://www.nytimes.com/2004/04/11/arts/design/11YABL.html?ex=1397016000&en=b83b9c12ab7bd68c&ei=5007&partner=USERLAND) which shows Brooklyn underwater in a beautiful tropical sea. The picture doesn't do it justice--go to the Brooklyn Museum (always worth a trip, anyhow) to see it in person!

"Chicago's Watery Grave" was pretty cool, but the one with chunks of Mount Rushmore floating in space is quite a brilliant concept (not desireable! just conceptually novel).
