The International CXT, short for Commercial Extreme Truck, can haul six tons of dirt and tow a 20-ton yacht at the same time. It's 9 feet high, 8 feet wide, 21 feet long, and weighs 15,000 pounds. Ergo, about 2 feet taller x 4 feet longer than the honkin' Hummer H2. Which, btw, it could tow along with that yacht.

"International built the CXT to make a bold statement," said Rob Swim of International Truck and Engine Corporation in a prepared statement announcing the CXT's launch. Exactly what statement would that be?

Is this a good thing (http://www.internationaldelivers.com/site_layout/news/newsdetail.asp?id=595)?

Well, as Dave Barry would say (actually,he has said), a lot of manly men will need a truck like that because there's going to be trouble at the rig and somebody's going to have to take some heavy equipment up to the rig, which can only be reached by climbing a steep, rocky trail.

I'm sure some dumb ass celeb with more money than sense will run out and buy one.

HA! I think that someone other than a celeb will get one. That thing is a mini 18-wheeler, and one ugly ass.

No way! That is a sheer thing of beauty! The perfect vehicle for creating mayhem during rush hour traffic.

At $115,000, it's not going to be driven by very many individuals. Still...... I do like that truck!
