Spill it!!!
I don't know what to record on my TiVo. Joey looked ok, till I heard him speak and let's just say I live amongst Joeys. I did pick up the MythBusters, which is FANTASTIC (better than P&T's Bullshit).
Anything else I am missing?

I am not in much to the reality series (although My Rude Fiancee or whatever the title was, was pretty damn good).
Any good comedy, drama?

I wish I could help but after a year of having the Dish Network I finally realized last week that we had G4TTV. :banghead:
What a great station, I can't believe I missed a whole year. :( :haha:
The only other shows I watch are Simpson, South Park, Reno 911 (great show) and the hundreds of Police Videos shows.

I hope that was sarcasm on G4?
The only thing I watch on there is the new X-Play. Notice the new studio? Yep, they made Adam Sessler and Morgan move to LA.

I love everything on there. Although I have to say Icons is by far the best. I watched the one of Final Fantasy this morning and it brought back such fond memories of waiting and waiting for the first game on the NES. :)

I have been digging F/X's "Rescue Me".

I've been watching Joey and it's not that bad. Not that good though either.
I look forward to when Third Watch starts it's new season. It's my favorite show :)
Oh not that new, but the show that's on mornings called Starting Over is pretty cool for a reality show. All women facing their life's challenges and recreating themselves. I'm liking that so far, when I get to see it.

Would you believe I've never heard of it? Chick stuff? Love, romance? ;)

When we were in Virginia -- and it was raining almost every day -- I got re-acquainted with commercials (AUGH!!!) and a few makeover shows.
The chopper shows were AWESOME. The first International Buildoff was mesmerizing -- although I thought Britain should have won. That house makeover made me teary eyed when they remade a cancer patient's -- little girl -- house.
we watch that faithfully! Had a whole thread about their Gothic 2 review
What's Gothic 2? Any good?
Dennis Leary produced/stars in Rescue Me (http://www.fxnetworks.com/shows/originals/rescueme/main.html).
A sitcom/drama about a FDNY vet who lost friends and family on that dreadful day, and how he deals with it.
He is constantly seeing ghosts of his lost commrads, his cousin, and victims he encounters in his duties while battling alcohilism, fires, and the threat of his teenage daughter dating boys.
It's on after 10PM, so expect as much, if not more "adult" entertaiment as "The Shield".
It is funny, sad, enraging and comforting all in the same hour.
The pilot episode was 1 hour uncut/ no commercials sponsored by Miller, and there was not a dry eye in the house at the end.
From a technical/reality standpoint of firefighting, I rate it as an 11.

Third Watch. (http://www.nbc.com/Third_Watch/index.html) Great show. Can't wait for tonights episode.
What's Gothic 2? Any good?
It's a video game for PC. Has a slight learning curve with the controls, but it's worth taking the time to learn. This game is on my top ten list of best games ever (Gothic 1 also being on there).

Thanks for the explanation.
9.11.01 is still raw for me. I don't think I would handle that show very well. :(

Damn I didn't even realize that third watch came back on tonight!!! I'm so out of touch with tv that friends usually have to call me to remind me something is on...and none of them watch third watch so it was forgotten by me. I just turned it on. Thank God I didn't miss the whole show. LOL
Starting over is a show in the morning. Yeah it's a chick show but it's not a boring one. To me at least. hey get 6 women who want to start over in life. Face challenges and clean up issues...there's life coaches that help these women with their challenges. Like one was she doesn't trust women. Well her goal is to learn to trust women. One never met her father. Her goal was to find him. The other women are there for support and the show is very real at times. Fights and all that at times. It's interesting :)

If you get Showtime have you checked out "Dead Like Me?" I'm getting some sort of freebie trial from D* and that's the show that has caught my eye.

What is it about?
I missed the beginning of the series, but apparently the main characters in "Dead Like Me," who call themselves "reapers," are people who died but have been brought back to life as, well, reapers.
Mandy Pantikin plays their boss. They receive their assignments in the form of a name written on a yellow sticky. They have to find their assignments and touch them before they die, which rescues their souls from their bodies. The reaper and the dead person's soul can see each other and converse and the reaper eases the transition to the other side.
"Life" is not easy for a reaper as they are expected to hold down a regular job in the land of the living. The main character is an attractive young woman named George (Ellen Muth) who was killed by a toilet seat that fell from the space station Mir. That sort of black comedy vibe is woven throughout the series.
I guess part of the point of the series is that you get to watch the reapers grow as people even though they have already died once.
The show also follows the travails of George's grieving family. Her mother, Joy, is played by Cynthia Stevenson, whom I remember as Tim Robbins's girlfriend in the Robert Altman movie "The Player." There's also an 11 or 12-year-old sister and a grandmother who is stereotyped as a hippie soul.
In the most recent episode George actually called her grandmother but didn't identify herself, just made believe it was a wrong number. I don't know what the reaper rules are regarding letting your family know about your new station in life, but perhaps we'll find out.
This series is probably an acquired taste, or it might not be your taste at all. I would understand. :) If you already have Showtime, it's worth an exploratory view or two.

Ah, I think you told me about this before since I remember the mention of Pantikin ("you killed my father, prepare to die").
I shall try it though, sounds original.
