I am apparently the only one here who fell madly iin love with Faye Wray in the original King Kong movie. (See it if you can -- the 1933 original, not the feeble remake from the '70s.)
She died yesterday, at 96; a pretty good run, but I still hate to see her go.

I loved her in the original Kong when I was a kid. She was a cutie.

Robert, you are the only member of the board who was paying adult prices when the original came out.
Have always read favorable reports about the lady. May she rest in peace.

I always knew her, before I saw the original King Kong finally, by the imortal song from "Rocky Horror (http://www.rockyhorror.com/)."Then something went wrong
For Fay Wray and King Kong.
They got caught in a celluloid jam.
What a babe.

I saw the picture many times over the years, Robert. My characterization of the lady as always receiving favorable reports was meant to be a compliment to her character.
