Never heard of this story prior to today. A father and his two sons were reported missing about a month ago. The father was 45, the sons were 6 and 3 years old.
They were found today, all three dead, but how they died is a bit disturbing (http://www.cnn.com/2004/US/Midwest/06/20/bodies.found.ap/index.html).
A medical examiner said the three appeared to have been in the water since about the time they were reported missing.
The three were found tied at the waist. They were fully clothed but not wearing life jackets, said Anthony Riley, petty officer with the U.S. Coast Guard.
Also tied to the bodies were two nylon book bags, which contained two plastic bags filled with sand.
"One of the children also had pants pockets filled with sand, which had been zipped closed," Wagner said.
Whatever it was, was probably due to some action (or inaction) of the father, either good or bad, I can't judge based on the story. But you have to be one coward to kill little kids in such a way. I mean putting sand in the little jacket pockets so they stay down under the water?
It's times like these where I hope there's one pissed off, angry God, and It is not kinds to animals that did this.
