Well they are allowed in with a 1.2. From there there is no limit. Perhaps they should be checking them when they head for their cars, oh wait, this is Europe. I agree. Don’t let them in. There have been many deaths when Europeans mix sports with drink. More than we would abide here. A few peaceful seasons wouldn’t hurt the sport.

I'm not sure how to calculate blood alcohol concentration as a percentage as is common in the US. The article says the limit for admittance is "1.2 grams per litre". But grams are a measure of weight, and litres are a measure of volume. So we as forced to compare apples to oranges.
It is a fact that 1000 grams of water = 1 litre. So if we assume the weight per volume of alcohol = blood = water (which they are not equal), then 1.2 grams of alcohol per litre of blood = 0.12% which is considered legally drunk in many US states.
