Not really sure this is an Al Queda attack. I am sure there are other terrorist organizations that are capable of attacks like this. I am not saying that it isn't AQ, but it could be someone else.

It may have been a military target after all:
Feb. 3 (Bloomberg) -- A car exploded outside a bank in the
southern Russian city of Vladikavkaz today, killing two people and
injuring six, including five soldiers, Interfax reported, citing
an unidentified official from the Emergency Situations Ministry.
Two trucks carrying cadets from the Interior Ministry Forces'
institute were passing when the car blew up at about 5:15 p.m.
Vladikavkaz time, Interfax reported, citing Colonel Vasily
Panchenkov, a spokesman for the forces. The convoy may have been
the target of the blast, he said.
It's happened again, this time a commuter train. (http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/afp_world/view/69890/1/.html) 39 dead so far and 122 injured.

That's huge, Coot. I mean 22 dead in Israel's blast that shook Israelis has nothing on this one. In a metro no less.
Will be interesting to see how Russia reacts.
I just caught a cable news station in the cafeteria. Putin has said that, "we don't negotiate with terrorists, we annhilate them." I'm thinking that the retribution will be severe.

I am going to watch the Russian feed from their news tonight. They usually don't hold back with reporting nor showing the scene of the crime. Will let you know what I see.

Maybe when he's done with theirs, he can get busy taking care of ours!

I think Putin has said that before. I believe he was quoted as saying he would take them to the s^^^house amd kill them. And I believe it was last time he was running for election, if I am not mistaken.

Like I said, Russian media rarely withholds graphic stuff in their news reporting:
