Russian oligarch in London exile Boris Berezovsky stated that Russian Secret Service FSB is a terror organization. Speaking on a live television show, Berezovsky stated that London Police gave counsel in presence of his lawyers that FSB is planning to kill him in London. Berezovsky cited Chechen employment in his scenario of perpetration. Agency Caucasus

Sorry, I have no sympathy for that man.

You mean it's OK for the FSB to assassinate him?

No, but when one robs a country of its wealth-granted "by the rules" I have no sympathy when he whines about the repercussions of playing a deadly game in the first place.

What was he thinking when he was raking in the millions, making him one of the most wealthy in Russia and doing this by immoral means? That everyone will forget and forgive?

For one thing, the accusations of foul play have not yet been proven, and the whole Berezovsky case looks like an elaborate FSB stitch-up; for another, Berezovsky's revelations about the Dubrovka terrorist act are being taken seriously by people of the most moral constitution, such as Sergei Kovalev. Putin is not coming out of this well.

The proceedings against Berezovsky in London look like another of those misconceived "charm offensives" by the U.K. government, and Blair in particular, who receives bad advice on matters relating to the Russian Federation from self-appointed academic "experts" here in the U.K.

We will agree to disagree. Berezovsky is one of the people, FSB reports or not, who has massed riches with the downfall of SU. He didn't wake up one night rich from being honest and ethical.

And likewise, Putin didn't wake up president from being honest and ethical. Maybe it takes a thief to catch a thief.

Putin has so many skelletons that it will take years to find out everything.
